Privacy notice

Effective 23 September 2026. TAIXU // THE FIRST DEBT is operated by Denby Serrao-Arnot for a private Friends & Family alpha.

What the alpha keeps

The service stores your chosen username, an unreadable password hash, an unreadable invitation-key hash and redemption record, game progress, battles and activity. It also processes IP address, session and security logs needed to operate and protect the alpha. Feedback may include the text and screenshot you deliberately submit.

What it does not keep

The claim service does not store your plaintext password or usable itch key. It uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

Why and where

Information is used only to create and operate your account, retain alpha progress, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and improve TAIXU. The alpha is hosted on the approved AWS Lightsail service in Sydney. Following the download button takes you to itch.io, whose own privacy terms then apply.

Retention and requests

This is a disposable alpha: account and game data may be reset. Submitted feedback is scheduled for deletion after 30 days; operational logs are rotated. Email support@playtaixu.com to request access, correction or deletion. Some minimal audit or backup records may remain for security and recovery until their normal retention expires.

Alpha terms

Effective 23 September 2026. By creating an account or using this build, you agree to these short Friends & Family alpha terms.

Invitation and licence

Your invitation, account and build access are personal. Do not share or resell keys, credentials or private builds. You receive a limited, revocable, non-commercial licence to test TAIXU; ownership of the game and its materials does not transfer to you.

Pre-release state

TAIXU is unfinished. Bugs, outages, balance changes, removed features and progress wipes are expected. Access may end or be suspended for abuse, security risk or sharing private access. Denby will give practical notice of planned wipes when reasonably possible.

Feedback and conduct

You may submit feedback voluntarily and allow it to be used to improve or commercialise TAIXU. Do not attack the service, attempt to access another player’s data, automate claims or include credentials in feedback.

Legal baseline

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not promise permanent availability, permanent saves or a production service. Email support@playtaixu.com if something is wrong or you want your alpha account removed.
